Cancellation and Refund Policy
1. Introduction
Al-Kharj Chamber strives to provide the best services to users of the Events Platform and understands that circumstances may change, necessitating booking cancellations. This policy has been established to manage the cancellation and refund process fairly and transparently.
2. Cancellation and Refund Timeframes
The following cancellation policy applies to all paid events:
7 days or more before the event: Full refund (100%)
2 to 6 days before the event: 50% refund
Less than 48 hours before the event: No refund
After the event has started: No refund or cancellation
3. Special Circumstances
In the following cases, a full refund will be issued regardless of cancellation timing:
Event cancellation by the organizer
Event rescheduling that doesn't suit the attendee
Errors in event description or pricing
Force majeure circumstances preventing the event
4. How to Request Cancellation
To cancel your booking, please follow these steps:
Log in to your account on the platform
Go to the "My Bookings" section
Select the booking you wish to cancel
Click "Request Cancellation"
Choose your cancellation reason
Monitor your request status
5. Refund Processing Timeframes
Credit cards: 5-7 business days
Bank accounts: 3-5 business days
E-wallets: 1-2 business days
6. Exceptions
The refund policy does not apply to:
Free events
Registrations
Additional services (meals, transportation)
Events with explicitly stated special terms
7. Free Events
For free events, you may cancel at any time up to 24 hours before the event start time. After this time, your booking is considered confirmed.
8. Booking Transfers
You can transfer your booking to another person up to 24 hours before the event through:
Accessing your ticket details
Selecting "Transfer Booking"
Entering the new attendee's information
Confirming the transfer
